How to Get Great Pictures of Your Kids

I'm not a professional photographer. I don't use a super fancy camera and I don't spend hours editing but I do get some pretty great pictures of my kids and I wanted to share the biggest trick I discovered. This tip is going to seem ridiculous and may even results in an eye roll from you but hear me out. When I go to take a picture, if I am not really getting much from the girls I say "now laugh". This usually makes the best pictures! The girls instantly think it's funny to laugh and usually look at each other, making the picture that much better. I thought it'd be fun to show you "say cheese" versus "now laugh" (keep in mind, the laughing pictures are edited for lighting and cropping too but just looking at the girls for comparison).

These pictures really are some of my favorites. Some other tricks I use are making funny faces, bribery (don't we all), and fun props. Try this out and see how it works, I swear by it. I'm looking forward to see great pics of more laughing babes.
